The glory of autumn for this industrial chic wedding
This wave of industrial air that gives us the inspiration for this event flies in directly from the US: we unhinge the stereotypes of the classic wedding full of delicate nuances and spring romanticism for a style that we are not used to, causing unexpected sensations and revisited canons of beauty. We want to tell a different love story, thinking of lovers that are outside of the box and more sophisticated, creating ideas for an unconventional but even more fascinating wedding. We start from the desire to provide a drawing made of light pencil contours that are starting points but not arrival points, a start that can be modified until you get to draw in pen the profiles of the marriage dreamed and wanted by our future spouses.
This inspiration for an industrial-tasting wedding will achieve the desired success thanks especially to the chosen location: a contemporary industrial loft in the heart of the eternal city, Rome, where we left intact its true essence made of exposed pipes, large windows and concrete floors. To contrast this modern context with a dark background, we used an arrangement made of different materials, colors and styles, deliberately chosen to emphasize the versatility that an industrial chic wedding can offer. The burgundy drape enriched by the gilded elements of the mise en place that recalled the baroque style and perfectly matched the dark and decadent background of the walls and the armchair. To these we added crystal elements that reminded of lightness, and wooden pieces that came directly from the American countryside.
Although the location and the picture were truly eclectic, for the brides’ dresses we preferred a slightly more traditional theme without abandoning a fundamental concept: lightness. A feature also recalled in the colors of the fresh and light make-up for the bride with a light skin tone, while for the more Mediterranean bride we preferred a more dramatic look. The charming dresses had soft volumes declined in silk and lace; they are devoid of eccentric decorative elements, in perfect harmony with the sought-after mood. To enrich these light dresses, the wonderful bouquet with bright colors: a fusion of different types of autumn leaves and branches, combined with fresh seasonal fruit that added warm tones to the mise en place.
We wanted to look for the taste of late November that looked directly with elegance and a new beauty to the winter, a season that despite the mild climate can be as inspiring as it was for us, for a fairytale and enchanting wedding.
