Being a tourist in Rome (and Italy) is the best thing we can think of. Just figure this: beautiful historical monuments all around, wherever you go you find true and authentic pieces of history. Whether it is a Caravaggio painting or a Michelangelo sculpture, an architectural piece by the Bernini or an ancient roman column, it is beauty for your eyes. So when it comes to choosing a location – or two – to go to with our couples, it gets really difficult.
Not only because of the humongous options we have, but also because every place needs to be looked at and photographed giving back its authenticity but without making it cheesy or too touristic (you know like those menus at 10 euros).
Fontana di Trevi there is a stunning but challenging location: full of crowd even before sunrise, the policemen whistling at everyone, also, it is enormous. And yet, is is such a beautiful and romantic background, probably one of the most appreciated in our Eternal City. It was Gyeongmi and Jinmyung’s dream nevertheless to be photographed there and to walk towards Piazza di Spagna.
These two delicate souls from South Corea have been together for almost 10 years and married for 2, they were the sweetest. “We fight a lot because we are very different” – admitted Gyeongmi, “but we do love each other so very much!” And we truly could tell. The way they looked at each other was unmistakable. This beautiful lady, who is also learning Italian had very clear ideas “I’d love to show others our photos so they can see how people can’t but fall in love in this city.. Rome is so romantic!” We could not agree more.
